Do you have a lunch buffet? If so what are the prices and time??
Wait staff was polite, but slow. Appetizers were great, but the main entrees and the salads were bland. Overall I would not visit again.
MoreThere was sanya and combo sandwich tasted great. V
Today I had the baked imported pasta...excellent as usual
Love the vibe and the staff was great, however the food had some issues. The food was overall good, but you can tell it was premade and frozen. My food was hot on the outside and cold on the inside at the point of serving. At $15+ a plate, I expect more than frozen food.
MoreWould definitely recommend trying this spot. Fantastic vibes, tasty food, great customer service. Great work.
MoreI looked for an Italian restaurant near my home and the option was this, but I honestly do not recommend the very dry pasta first, the Philadelphia cheese bruschetas (I know them with mozzarella) and the simple and tasteless vegetable soup, the sharp squid , no, not at all terrible, well not only that we have not been able to sleep we have not passed them with an upset stomach vomiting and making bowel movements, I do not know that I had this food but we fell badly I do not recommend them at all
MoreClassic Old World Italian dining, with home cooked meals and a staff that is welcoming and attentive. Wonderful dishes to choose from that bring back the "good old days" dinners. They still serve Frog legs of all things! Make sure to save room for dessert and order the, made to order, fried dough with cinnamon sugar and chocolate sauce, it's the Italian version of a beignet. The perfect end to a carefully prepared home cook meal. They also offer unique appetizers and have a very fine wine and whiskey selection. We'll be back!
MoreOne of my main places to grab something to eat. fantastic location, well kept, and great service. I highly recommend them!
MoreIf you haven’t been here, do yourself a favor and go. This is a fantastic place with great price and delicious Italian food.
MoreWent here for my job Christmas party this year and last year. Staff was very welcoming and polite. The food was great.
MoreThis place is amazing! Took my father out to dinner for father's day after his first pick had a 45min wait. Ended up having the best father's day diner as a result. The food was amazing, the waitress was awesome and had the best experience possible. Thank you!
MoreWe had a great time with great food and great service.
Old school Italian restaurant feel and friendly wait staff. Fried calamari was fresh and cooked perfectly. My partner and I both enjoyed our pasta dishes, with good portion sizes and the alfredo sauce was creamy and tasty. Seasonal martinis are delicious. Would recommend
MoreBest find ever. Food and service was great.
BEST Italian place I’ve every tried. I visited from California and im not into the deep dish pizza places in Chicago, i like pastas better. This place has a beautiful design and the food is delicious. Their Fettucine Alfredo is to die for. The sauce was so creamy and rich, nothing powdery like most places. This sauce was so authentic and a real treat. The dumplings are also very delicate and beautiful to bite into. They took care of us very well, the waiters were very patient and hospitable.
MoreBest place where you can have some true Italian food. I live nearby and never noticed this amazing place.
MoreMelrose Park, being known for its authentic Italian restaurants, is a veritable treasure chest of top-notch family owned Italian eateries. A few go back generations as do their home cooked recipes. As such, no restaurant-hunting excursion would be complete without a stop to one of Melrose Park’s truly iconic Italian establishments. Abruzzo’s. I’ve been there often and it truly “never gets old”. My personal favorite is their weekday, M-F, lunch buffet. I’m 100% Italian and as a group we can be VERY picky when it comes to our food. That’s why I keep returning. I know REAL Italian food the moment I taste it. To sound cliched, it reminds me of Mom’s. (WARNING: Don’t let Mom hear you say that.)In the Italian/American culture there is no higher compliment. Don’t waste your time deciding. Just Do It!
MoreReally really good stuff, lasagna to die for, calamari crunchy, read sauce and vodka sauce both our favorites. But their drink selection is the best imported stuff. Thank you, coming here since 15 years.
MoreFood, Wine, Service was excellent.
Very good service and amazing food
friendly, warm and all around inviting when it comes to making you feel welcome and a part of a family atmosphere. As far as food it is the same. Especially if your looking for a trip down food memory lane. Its definitely a food trip back to Grandparents house.
MoreVery friendly staff, huge menu. Grilled calamari salad was good but not special: a lot of romaine, few tomatoes, couple red onion rings, some green peppers, and just okay grilled calamari. Excellent bread. I think the way to go here is the pasta and Italian specialties like eggplant parmesan.
MoreVery amazing staff and great food!! Took my fiance for his birthday dinner and sadly Google got the closing times wrong but the staff was so amazing that they let us stay after hours for his birthday because they got the time wrong and for that it was the best thing ever. We couldn't find no where else and thanks to the amazing food and everyone being nice they sure made this location a must go to
MoreThe best Italian restaurant in the United States of America
From the first moment you enter that restaurant team give you a good feeling. Very hospitable crew, it is a nice restaurant to go out with buddies or with your date. Great cooking, specialist chef, honest cost and generous service. Warmly recommended.
MoreThe food was outstanding, service was great!!
Cozy place. Good food.
The staff was friendly and attentive. It was a very pleasant brunch experience!
Wow....I can’t understand why I don’t come every other day to Abruzzo’s. The food is as good as it gets, and the service and ambiance to match! Rigatoni paired with the crumbled sausage and vodka sauce is the best in Chicago, wait, so is the lasagna. The house Chianti is perfect, not to mention the dinner salad with the house Italian dressing and a generous cup of crumbled blue cheese.
MoreGood food big portions..friendly staff
Had the meatball sandwich and fried zucchinni....was delish!
We arrived at this spot for lunch. we heard about this restaurant from a lot of people. Well, it was very nice. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we felt good. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again. Warmly recommended.
MoreExcellent italin sausage. I had italian sausage and green peppers with potatos on the side. . excellent. Staff is courteous but not pesty. Overall great place. I have been here a doezen times before and xefinitely will come come back.
MoreI was very excited when my husband and I decided to try this place. But was then disappointed when the price for the food did not match its quality. I have no problem paying almost 20 dollars for pasta that claims to be "homemade". However, I ordered the pappardelle pasta primavera and it did not meet expectations. It was watered down and lacking in flavor. Not to mention the salad was not fresh. There was some pieces that were fresh others that were limp and old. Other than that the atmosphere and staff were great. I just wish the quality of the food matched it.
MorePassing through on the way out of town last night. Best lasagna i have ever tasted. Also had some Italian sausage that was spectacular. Staff was wonderful and felt like I was a welcome friend of the family. On our way back home tonight and thinking about stopping again.
MoreCute and cozy place with excellent food. Missed a sauce to go with the baked clams. Thats my only criticism.
MoreFound this place on google it looked nice and was rated well and let me tell you this restaurant deserves the five stars I'm giving it. I'm so glad we decided on going there the food was DELICIOUS! Best Italian food I've found in years. The staff was super attentive, cozy environment, I had some of everything ordered at the table and every entree was better than I've had anywhere else I cant see how you could chose wrong here. Also if you enjoy a cocktail their expresso bean cocktail was exceptional as well. I can't stress enough how worth it this place is.
MoreGreat food for many many years. Anything you order is wonderful. Good drinks, wines, etc. Service is fast and always with a smile. A favorite!
MoreAll I can say is garlic knots! The service and food was top notch!! But I can't stop thinking about those garlic knots. Please do yourself a favor and go treat yourself
MoreOne word, Amazing!! You can smell the history and the food shows

Best food, super friendly employees, always excellent character. They charge reasonable rates and the food quality is very good. Great work.
MoreGood service. Homemade pasta and crumbled sausage was delicious. Homemade creamy garlic dressing was just right
MoreThe eggplant parm was wonderful! Came for a late lunch on a Wednesday and had the restaurant practically to ourselves
MoreYou get to eat outside but be prepared for the outer area next to u filled with smokers ruining a smoke free area. The food tasted wonderfuland the server was very nice. I would like to go back but the smoke was a bust for me.
